Well, school begins for me on Monday night, and truthfully, I'm still not ready to go back! Of course, after that hellacious College Algebra class with a dose of Old Testament Literature on top of that can you blame me? It was nice, however, that the classes ended at the end of June so I could have somewhat of a summer vacation.

This semester is all downhill as I will be taking classes focusing entirely on teaching and classroom management. I made the Dean's List last semester, but I sure had to work at it. I hope I make it again this semester.

In January, I will finally complete the very last part of my education - my student teaching. My teaching internship, however, has a downfall: i don't get paid for it. This is absolutely stupid in my opinion because I have to practically go into financial ruin just to complete my education because I have to quit my job. I've been worried about this for well over a year now as my husband doesn't make enough to support both of us and I will be unemployed until at least August of next year. That's a long time, you government retards that won't give me any help because I 'make too much'!

My current employer doesn't know I am in school, and frankly, I'm not offering any information on that after my whole ordeal at my last job. I hate to be like that, but any more, it's all about watching your own back. At the end of December, I'm just gonna be like, "I'm sorry, but I am leaving around the first of the year to complete my education. Thank you for the opportunity." And just leave it at that.

But I will be so happy to finally graduate...the closer my internship gets, the more nervous I'm gonna be. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel...and I'm glad.
